Make the 2009 Christmas Party Unforgettable at Turlee Station

October 30, 2009 By Johanna Baker-Dowdell Leave a Comment

Forget the standard Christmas party fare at the local conference venue or the pub’s event room, treat your employees and clients to something really special this year.

Turlee Station is a working sheep and wheat station, and has everything needed for a unique Christmas party – including accommodation – so the party can spill over into the weekend if you have a big celebration planned.

Whether you are looking for a basic barbecue or a black-tie roast dinner by candlelight, Turlee Station owners Nathen and Sophie Wakefield can accommodate for all occasions. The couple have recently added a catering trailer to make it easier to serve meals for larger groups in their woolshed.

“With Christmas approaching we’re looking forward to throwing open the woolshed for some laughter and frivolity and celebrating the end of 2009 with local businesses and residents,” Sophie said.

“Our hospitality is well-known and our menus are tailored for each event. Turlee will provide a truly memorable Christmas party experience that will stick in your clients’ and employees’ minds for a long time to come. We’ll make your Christmas party the one people talk about until Easter!

“We know Turlee is a special venue – we choose to live and work here – but so many of our guests comment on their amazing experiences while visiting the station,” she added.

Turlee Station is fully licensed, so offers the ideal venue for a festive party – after all the neighbours won’t complain about the noise!

Not only a great venue for Christmas parties, Turlee Station also hosts and caters for birthdays, family gatherings, car rallies and many other events.

Turlee Station Stay is located on the edge of Mungo National Park in the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area in outback NSW.
