Personal coaching results in better candidates

June 4, 2008 By Johanna Baker-Dowdell Leave a Comment

Candidate Coaching is a one-to-one consulting business focused on improving candidate’s prospects in securing their perfect job.

Owner Angie Wood discovered a gap in the market for affordable and personalised interview coaching, and believes getting interview technique right is second to none when trying to get the ideal placement. Candidate Coaching launched this month.

As an experienced marketer, with contract and permanent positions for large blue chip organisations worldwide, Ms Wood knows that standing out from the crowd can make you the winning candidate.

“With the job market becoming more competitive every month, securing the job of your dreams is more and more difficult. Whether just out of university and looking for a position in your chosen field, or seeking a new job in a different area, there are tips and tricks to achieving interview success,” Ms Wood says.

Candidate Coaching arms all candidates with winning interview skills, whether they are new to the job search process, or looking to improve, refine and refresh their interview skills before aiming for that all-important interview. Using initial assessment to identify client’s individual needs, Candidate Consulting then guides them through a strategic approach, setting each candidate up with a roadmap aimed at the end goal of interview success.

“Many other candidates will have similar experience, so it’s vital that you stand out from the crowd, present yourself to your best ability, leave a lasting impression and get yourself hired! It’s not a complex process but with our personalised focus and the right interview technique Candidate Coaching can be the catalyst to your interview success,” Ms Wood says.

The Candidate Coaching website www.candidatecoaching.blogspot.com is focused on providing up-to-date information on job search skills, resources and web links for job hunting candidates. The site also offers a free email subscription with regular tips on interview and job search skills, user polls and video links on how other candidates see themselves in the job market.

While based in Sydney, sessions can be held one on one or remotely via phone and email if candidates are not within the Sydney region. To celebrate the launch of Candidate Coaching is offering two free coaching sessions worth $60 each to all new applicants who sign up June 3-29 2008.

Candidate Coaching is based in Chiswick, Sydney and is owned by Angie Wood. Her skills include marketing project management, relationship management, owning and running an online boutique and candidate coaching.

Interested candidates can email Candidate Coaching at candidatecoaching@gmail.com or phone 0406 055 848 to make appointment. Visit www.candidatecoaching.blogspot.com for more information.

Note. Candidate Coaching’s promotional giveaway finishes 29th June 2008. Only one entry accepted per email address.
