Southern Hemisphere Tendence Fans Flock to Watch Central

July 1, 2013 By Johanna Baker-Dowdell Leave a Comment

Shopping for a unique watch with all the right Swiss credentials has never been as easy for Australians and New Zealanders, with Watch Central opening at the preferred Tendence reseller.

Tendence watches have become known as much for classic styles that work in the corporate world, as the brand’s bright contemporary styles. Either option makes a bold statement about the wearer.

Watch Central launched in April with the intention of exclusively stocking the larger than life watch brand Tendence. Customers can choose from more than 130 Tendence styles priced from $160 upwards.

Owner Danielle Walton said Tendence watches were previously available online, however the brand had not previously worked with a preferred dealer in Australia.

Taking up this mantle has paid off already for Danielle, with Tendence fans from Australia and New Zealand placing orders as soon as Watch Central started trading.

“I have always been a Tendence lover. The watches fit in with my active lifestyle, and many of my friends feel the same, so it made sense for me to stock Tendence only,” Danielle explained.

“I knew there was a strong fan base for Tendence in Australia and New Zealand and I’m excited to make it easier and quicker for these customers to get their hands on their favourite styles. No more waiting for purchases coming from the other side of the world.

“We will be releasing limited edition watch styles and a new range of accessories and jewellery this month that we know our customers will love,” she added.

Watch Central works with a selection of brand ambassadors – including award-winning real estate agent and water sports enthusiast Chris Gilmour, V8 ute racer Kris Walton, Tall Ferns captain Natalie Taylor and singer and reality TV star Jade Louise – to spread the word further.

The online store has also built a strong following on Facebook and Instagram with its savvy 20-50 years target market.
