Australia’s top bloggers speak at Digital Parents Conference 2013

Several of the country’s top bloggers will be speaking at the Digital Parents Conference 2013 at Curzon Hall, Sydney on the 20th and 21st of March.

Problogger Darren Rowse, authors and bloggers Kerri Sackville, Karen Andrews, Allison Tait and Nicole Avery, and blogging mentor Annabel Candy, to name a few, will be talking about their respected expertise in the industry.

Digital Parents Conference, an initiative of Australia’s largest online community for blogging parents, is aimed at empowering bloggers with information and tools to succeed in their blogs. This is the first time ever that Australia will be hosting a two-day expo and conference for the blogging community.

Digital Parents founder Brenda Gaddi said that although the event is hosted by Digital Parents, it is open for all bloggers. “The common misconception is that we only cater for blogging mums and dads. In fact, if you look at the program on our website, it covers all aspects of blogging that other niche bloggers will be able to learn from.”

Brenda also said the conference is the best opportunity for bloggers to get the most out of their money. The writing session alone, hosted by Valerie Khoo from Sydney Writer’s Centre, would normally cost around $1000 if it wasn’t incorporated in the conference.

“Every blogger will learn new tips and tricks, plus experience new ways to promote their blogs and have fun with their supportive online community,” she said.

The conference will also cover photography sessions, tips on creating professional looking vlogs, and more importantly, the legal side of blogging.

Early Bird Passes to the conference are already sold out. Full Blogger Passes are now available for $350 and Industry Passes are available for $500.

Negotiations are also underway for industry leaders to sponsor the 2013 event, with details to follow soon. The Digital Parents Conference offers a unique opportunity for brands to create meaningful connections with Australia’s blogging community. “Our sponsors are industry leaders who respect and value the parent blogging space.”

Limited sponsorship packages are available and they are tailored to meet each brand’s blogger outreach and social marketing objectives. Email Digital Parents at sponsorship@digitalparentsconference.com.au to find out more.
